These are excelent news Alexandre.

I am a newbie although I have compiled a few kernels successfully (without
being able to make them bootable though :-( ). I would like instructions
please. Is there a step by step guide?

I am now downloading
http://www.fsfla.org/svnwiki/selibre/linux-libre/download/releases/2.6.30-libre/linux-2.6.30-libre.tar.bz2for
making use Broadcom BCM4312 (b43 driver).
