empty result for me (make olddefconfig) - should i have defined it explicitly?

FWIW, the rust compiler is not installed in that build chroot - ive never added
it to the recipe and ive not yet had trouble building linux-libre without it -
but maybe that is why NOVA_CORE is not configured - does it simply decline to
compile any rust if the rust compiler is not present, ie: all rust components
are strictly optional?

the build is running now - is this still an interesting experiment if rust is
not installed or 'NOVA_CORE' does not appear .config ? - or otherwise it is an
ordinary build and i should i stop it and re-configure for the experiment?
