In addition to Trisquel, my understanding is that Guix folks follow a
similiar process with running the deblob scripts, so that is a question
both will need to address but preferably beforehand so as to be ready.
I don't know that either of them have a plan but the recommended method
is to use the Linux-libre source code tarballs and/or git repository to
get the kernel source code.
