Thanks for your response.
Sorry I thought I'd double checked what typed, I hadn't even noticed
that In the configs the setting I can see is:
CONFIG_ARM_LPAE=y , I didn't even see the (V7) bit that was on the u-
boot page.
So, for example, under processor settings, 6.12 has CONFIG_ARM_LPAE=y
at:
https://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/configs/6.12/armhf
and won't boot, whereas 5.15 and 6.1 which do boot have
# CONFIG_ARM_LPAE is not set
https://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/configs/6.1/armhf
https://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/configs/5.15/armhf
