Distributing lzip compressed tarballs

Hello Alexandre, thanks for maintaining linux-libre.

Did you think about distributing lzip compressed tarballs (in addition 
to tar.bz2)?

Lzipped tarballs of linux-2.6.XX-libre are about 9MB (17%) smaller than 
bzip2ed ones. This is almost one hour less of download time for 
narrowband connected people like me.

Lzip is stable and free as in freedom (GPLv3 or later).
